Au Bank Jaipur Marathon has been growing leaps and bounds since its inception and now it is all set to incite robustness and vigour in people from Jaipur and afar. This is the 8th edition of India’s biggest running event and runners from around the country will join us on the tracks on 5th February’17.

This running affair has got an impressing espousal from famous personalities, enthusiastic corporates, diligent sports persons, schools and colleges and never, never least – all the Jaipurites who have made Au Bank Jaipur Marathon a success.

Recently, when most of us were busy partying, Mumbaikars bid adieu to 2016 in the healthiest way possible.

‘Dream Capital Of India’ started the New Year’s Eve bash early in the morning at around 5 A.M. when a great many people gathered for a warm up session by Mumbai Road Runners.

This was followed by a 21 kms Au Bank Jaipur Marathon promo run, starting from Bandra to Nariman Point, via Siddhi Vinayak, Hazi Ali and Marine Drive. They spent New Year’s Eve in the most remarkable manner, delivering a lesson about health and fitness to the entire nation.

All the finisher runners were awarded certificates in the end. The pre-event was a huge success and people at Mumbai thoroughly enjoyed it. They are looking forward to the main event that is going to happen in our Pink City on 5th of February. (We are as excited as them!)

Many Star Runners from Mumbai, including Raj Vadgama, Lt. Colonel Sundaresan, Jai Raman (Pinkathon Ambassador), Sameer Sakpal will join us on the course during the main event.

This International Level Marathon Event has now included a full marathon category, so it is a great opportunity for all the runners to enhance their personal bests as well.

While Mumbaikars were involved in the fitness game in 2016, Jaipur students said a Healthy-Hello to 2017 at the Pre-event held at Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidhyalaya on 3rd January, in the benign presence of Maharaja Padmanabh Singh, Youth Ambassador.

The countdown has now begun. We are already pretty excited. Runners from around the country are on board. Put your sports shoes on and get involved in some health-and-fun run. Register ASAP!
