AU Jaipur Marathon 2027: Rules & Regulations

Official Rules & Regulations

By registering for the 18th Edition of AU Jaipur Marathon 2027, every participant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to abide by these Official Rules & Regulations.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Rules & Regulations govern participation in AU Jaipur Marathon 2027. Registration constitutes acceptance of all rules, policies and instructions issued by the organisers.

2. Definitions

Defines Organiser, Participant, Race Bib, Timing Chip, Race Kit, Gun Time, Net Time, Cut-off Time and Force Majeure.

3. Eligibility & Registration

Participants must satisfy the minimum age criteria for their chosen category. Registration is valid only after successful payment and confirmation.

4. Registration Policy

Entries are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-deferable. False information may result in cancellation.

5. Medical Fitness & Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit. The organisers may withdraw any participant on medical grounds.

6. Race Categories & Eligibility

Participants may compete only in the category for which they are eligible. Category changes are at the discretion of the organisers.

7. Bib Expo & Race Kit Collection

Race Kits must be collected during the Official Bib Expo with valid Government-issued photo identification.

8. Race Bib, Timing Chip & Identity Verification

Race Bibs must be worn visibly on the front. Bib swapping, alteration or duplication is prohibited. Chip timing will be used where applicable.

9. Race Day Rules

Participants must follow the designated route, instructions of race officials, volunteers and police, and complete all mandatory timing checkpoints.

10. Official Cut-off Timings

Official Cut-off Times:

  • Full Marathon (42.195 KM): 5 Hours 30 Minutes
  • Half Marathon (21.097 KM): 3 Hours
  • 10 KM Timed Run: 1 Hour 40 Minutes
  • 5 KM Timed Run: 1 Hour
  • Dream Run (~6 KM): 1 Hour 30 Minutes

After the official cut-off time, roads may be reopened to normal vehicular traffic as directed by local authorities. Participants who have not completed their race may continue at their own risk but must move to the side of the road or footpath wherever instructed, comply with all traffic regulations and follow directions of the police and race officials. Traffic control, medical support, hydration stations, timing operations and other race services may be reduced or withdrawn after the cut-off. The organisers reserve the right to remove participants from the course after the cut-off where necessary for safety or operational reasons. Participants finishing after the official cut-off may not be eligible for official timing, finisher medal, finisher certificate or inclusion in the official results.

11. Timing, Results & Finisher Benefits

Official results are based on electronic timing where applicable. Finisher medals and certificates are issued in accordance with event rules.

12. Dream Run Policy

Dream Run is a non-competitive participation category. No Medals , rankings or prize money apply.

13. Code of Conduct & Anti-Cheating

Bib swapping, course cutting, impersonation, abusive behaviour, prohibited assistance and tampering with timing equipment will result in disqualification.

14. Safety, Hydration & Medical Support

Medical aid, hydration and emergency support will be available at designated locations. Participants must seek assistance immediately if unwell.

15. Baggage Deposit

Limited baggage deposit may be available. The organisers are not responsible for valuables.

16. Photography, Media & Privacy

Participants consent to the use of photographs, videos and race results for promotional purposes and to processing of personal data for event administration.

17. Refund, Cancellation & Force Majeure

Registration fees are non-refundable. The organisers may modify, postpone or cancel the event due to Force Majeure or public safety considerations.

18. Liability & Insurance

Participation is at the participant's own risk. Participants are encouraged to obtain personal insurance.

19. Environmental Responsibility

Participants should use designated waste bins and help keep the course clean.

20. Amendments

The organisers may amend these Rules & Regulations at any time. The latest version on the official website shall prevail.

21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Rules are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall be the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
